Last November brought one of my favorite sessions to date: Carolyn & Craft’s copywriter branding session. Carolyn is a momma, a candle company founder, a former perinatal therapist, and now a content writer, helping therapists share their voice & attract ideal clients through SEO optimized blog content. We connected a few years ago when we collaborated on my DREAM session shooting her entire product catalog for her company which has since closed, Frances & Louise Candle Co.
For this session, our goal was to create strategic imagery that spoke to her new copywriting career with warmth, grace, and timelessness.

Walking into Carolyn’s office space is like being enveloped in a warm hug. Full of vintage pieces, photos of the ones she loved, and a shelf stacked tall with her favorite books, I instantly felt right at home. Not only was the location beautiful, it was also strategic, aligning with the inclusive and welcoming atmosphere her brand embodies.
We started with this super cute denim on denim look, which was both classic AND trendy, showing Carolyn’s audience that she is on the ball when it comes to making your brand feel effortlessly cool. This is just one of the reasons I absolutely love wardrobe styling and the impact it has on a session.
At this location, we were fortunate enough to also have access to a studio space that allowed us to lean into the professionalism and level of expertise that her brand is also known for. Here we seamlessly flowed into a more business-casual look with jeans and two of the most stunning blazers. Why pick one when you can have BOTH!
