Timeless Summer Branding Photography for Nostalgic, Feel-Good Brands | There’s something about summer that brings out our inner child—the scent of sunscreen, the butterflies building for a day in the sun, and the feeling of a paperback novel warming in your hands as you lay by the pool. I drew inspiration for this portfolio shoot from all the little things I love about the season—fresh fruit, nostalgic pool floats, the cutest swimwear, slow afternoons with a good book, and sipping something sweet on a sunny day.
This shoot wasn’t just a chance to get creative (although that is one of my favorite parts!). I intentionally designed this portfolio shoot to showcase how different types of brands—from beverage companies to boutique swimwear lines—can elevate their summer marketing with styled, seasonal content. Whether you’re launching a new flavor, a summer capsule, or simply want to show your product in a fresh, warm-weather setting, a styled pool shoot can help you stand out in the scroll.

The goal was to create something that felt classic and a little nostalgic—like a vintage summer daydream brought to life. Think retro pool floats, gingham details, bright fruit, and sunshine you can almost feel through the screen.

We shot everything poolside at a private home using a mix of styled sets and natural light. I sourced vintage-inspired props, soft linens, bright citrus, and styled each scene to feel both editorial and attainable. The end result? A collection of images that can be used in social posts, website headers, Pinterest pins, or even print.
This shoot is a great example of how seasonal storytelling and product-forward visuals can work together to create something truly memorable.
